Mo Gawdat started his career as an engineer with modest aspirations in Egypt. Far exceeding his wildest dreams, he ended up as the immensely successful Chief Business Officer at “Google X”, Google's “moonshot factory”. 

Despite his career success and practically unlimited financial resources, at a certain point he became depressed and started searching for the key to happiness. Following the worst tragedy a parent can experience, he expanded his mission from finding the key to happiness to making one billion people happy.
